本单元的中心话题是Shopping，第54课是以“Shopping Online”为标题的阅读课和有关此话题的问答。本文通过描写一个日本女孩从网上查资料、看广告到在网上定购照相机的整个过程，给人们展现了一幅现代人用最现代的方式购物的画面，文章通过生动形象的描述，不但使人了解了网上购物的乐趣，而且还介绍了购物的方法。

Ⅰ Revision: Making up dialogues
Situation A: You are going to attend the sports meeting of your school. You need a pair of new sports shoes. So your mother and you go shopping.
Situation B: Next Sunday is your brother's birthday, and you want to buy a present for him.
Choose two pairs to act them out, let the students sum up the sentences about shopping.

Ⅱ Presentation:
1. Teacher: Today we'd like to know sth. about shopping online. Have you ever bought anything online? (Students discuss in small groups. Teacher walk around and give some help if necessary)
