Step1.
Warming-up |
Have short dialogues in pairs by asking and
showing the ways to different places in Xiaoyi.
Try to use:
“in front of …, between … and…” and so on.
One pair each team, Write the prep phrases
about the positions on the Bb. |

Tell the Ss that we will talk about the
positions and we’ll have dialogue and play games. |

Task One: Where do you sit?

1. The teacher asks and the students answer.
2. Let the students ask and answer impairs.
3. Ask one student to describe the Ss’ positions
in a short passage.
If they can do well in Task one, congratulations
to them.
Task Two: Playing games
Game l: Give some orders to the Ss:
Please do as I tell you.
Hand up!
Put your hands in front of you.
Put your hands behind your back.
Put your hands on your desk and keep them
on your desk.
Close your eyes and keep your eyes closed.
Be sure the Ss can act correctly as the teacher
tells them and praise the Ss who do the correct actions.
Game 2: Ask six students to come to the blackboard.
“I have a coin in my hand.” Show the coin
to all the students.
Then guide the students play the game.
When the students guess out the game is finished.
Clap hands for the winner.
Then go on playing the game again.
Task Three: Listening and answering
1. Listen to the tape of part2. Answer:
What must the other students do when the six students pass the
coin?
2. Detailed reading
Read the text carefully and answer the questions in Part2.
Check the answers and praise the students who do well. |
